The Pathways system contains the following features:

Pathways is a simple-to-use messaging solution with a scaleable workflow where the user can Create, Edit, Publish, Distribute and Archive messages via our News Alert Manager. Carrying your corporate identity throughout, the software is quick to learn and quicker to use, reaching your targets within seconds.

Desktop client

The software is small, unobtrusive and very easy to install. It can be branded to carry your corporate identity.

Content management system

Create your messages directly through your favourite web browser via our user friendly, fully branded News Alert Manager.

Message creation

Compose messages with a rich text editor, attach images, edit questions and embed them in your alerts.

Message distribution

On demand or Scheduled publishing, single or multiple groups targeting, message scheduling and expiration, three levels of message priority.

Security

Encryption (transmission & database), Authorization level, No message data stored on desktop PC.

Auditing

Full blame/credit system for actions on CMS, Item arrival time, read time, question responses by user.

Statistics

Arrival delay, Read delay, Reporting by user, group, message or date.

Optional presence information

Is your user online? Will they receive the message immediately?

Technical requirements

The Pathways solution comprises two separate elements. The client application that is installed on each user's desktop to allow them to receive alerts, and the News Alert Manager that allows authorised personnel to create and publish alerts.

Pathways Client

Microsoft Windows: 98, ME, NT 5, 2000, XP, 2003, 2008, Vista, Windows 7.

News Alert Manager

Hosting requirements: Microsoft Windows Server, IIS 6 (or above), .Net 2.0, MySQL or MSSQL database.

Browser requirements: Firefox or Internet Explorer (7 and above), Javascript enabled.
